But Mr. Trump very much did apologize. I, like many, had forgotten about the apology and it’s substantial remarks and depth.
So here is an actual story on Mr. Trump’s apology:
Mr. Trump’s apology sounds sincere. Note that unlike many of the accused in the #MeToo movement, the issue was words said between Mr. Trump and a young Billy Bush, who would go on to become an NBC Reporter. And in the article posted above, even he apologizes for the secret recording (unknown to Mr. Trump) and leading him on in the conversation.
So Mr. Trump said what some call very inappropriate words, but did not actually say he did or does these things (grab someone’s private area); only that he could, because he was rich and famous. Frankly, this is locker room talk a lot of males will say between each other. Wrong? Yes. Uncommon. Not necessarily.
But the important thing is Mr. Trump very much did apologize for those words. Since they were NOT actions, what else does anyone want to see happen due to them? In the rough and tumble world of politics, of course Mr. Trump’s political foes used these words against him. However, he still won the election, and obviously his many supporters accepted his apology, even if the democrats and media do not.
When media types, Deranged Left wing tweeters, Liberal Facebook posters, democrats and socialists in general bring the comments from the video again, post this link back to them.
I’m sure they’ll scorn it, but I think it’s important to his defense that still needs to be part of the entire conversation.
