Correct, an art student who was kicked out of his Vienna art school for having little to no aptitude at painting, watercolor or pencil drawing (he particularly and interestingly lacked visual “perspective” in his still life work of say, buildings— they were flat or out of proportion). His father was a civil servant and they hated each other. He developed his hatred for Jews in Vienna during his art period and especially during WWI when he badgered his jewish superior officer into giving him the Iron Cross (for being an orders “runner”... not for any combat role).
