I dated an older liberal woman in college. We disagreed on political views 180 degrees but there was a strong sexual chemistry we couldn’t deny. After graduation we went our separate ways, like you realizing it would never work.
I have had a couple of liberal women who were drawn more to me than me to them who seemed to thrive on the fact I would call them on their leftist nonsense and would not hesitate to tell them they were wrong. One would have dated and married me in a heartbeat, still would. Her father was weak with her and she dominated him and does her husband. As a friend she tried to dominate me and I refused to kowtow and told her she was full of it. As a teenager she told her father to shut up and go to hell and told me quite proud of it and I said if I were your father and you told me that you would still be hunting your teeth once you managed to get up off your ass from being knocked on it.
