Not what happened. After the black guy took a step or two forward after knocking him to the ground, before the white guy pulled the gun, the black guy was already stepping back, as if he anticipated the white guy was about to pull a weapon which he did. Watch closely.
I did. He pushed him 8-10 feet away, then walked up to him and pulled up his pants in such a manner to suggest attacks with his feet were incoming.
Then he saw that he was, in fact, about to die, then he did, in fact, die.
All he had to do in order to avoid be killed by a man with a gun was to not assault the man with the gun that killed him.
He initiated his own death sequence.
Am I supposed to take into account that right before he died, he realized oh sh!t, I’m about to die, and hold his victim accountable for his death?
I don’t think so.
If I’m on that jury, he’s walkin’.
