I love it when people who say the rules suck, but do little to fix them.

If one does not like the Electoral College, change the Constitution. It’s that easy. Well, it’s not easy telling all of the states between the Appalachian and Rocky Mountains they will no longer have a say. But try it anyway.

You are so correct you should be sainted. The electoral college was put in to stop the possible centralizing of votes like could have happened in this election.

We have the same problem in Washington state. King county has so many people in it that it over votes the rest of the state. And as they are ultra-liberal, that is the summation of the laws and taxes we have up here. As we don’t have the electoral college, or anything like it in the state, we are trapped into accepting the votes of them and their representatives. Hence the reason we are 26th in money generation in the nation, but the fifth highest taxed. (For people things a vast majority of the citizenry doesn’t receive)
