Just more grade inflation leading to school being a participation trophy where everyone gets an A+ and graduates.

I see it in colleges too. In business, I no longer accept a Bachelor’s degree. Minimum of a Master’s, and I prefer a Doctorate’s. Seems even the Master’s programs are letting anyone graduate, and many Doctorate degrees are clapping for credits.

I also don’t accept any GPA below 3.78. Anything less is unacceptable since grade inflation means an A just for turning in any lousy work.

I’ve watched colleges give a D- to students that did zero work just to ensure they didn’t flunk out.

Sometimes bad grades are a sign of a rebel and not that a student isn't smart. To clarify this I mean a rebel these days is a student who goes against the liberal orthodoxies being tossed at them and dares to question their libtard teachers and professors. A rebel with a cause.

I have a sibling who has a math PhD and is an actuary. He said years ago that the colleges and universities will give away bachelors and masters degrees but they won't give away doctorates. I wonder about doctorates now with all the educated idiots running universities.
