This is exactly how ridiculous marijuana prohibition has become. My sister recently started using “CBD Oil”, which has zero psychoactive properties, but it has no noticeable side effects and has allowed her to live without Vicodin for the first time in years. Why in the world that was ever illegal, I have no idea, but anyone advocating that people be denied something that can alleviate their pain without all of the known considerable negative side effects of narcotics should really take another look at this.
Yes, he’s probably thinking of the CBD / cannabis oil. Never heard of using the stuff *that* way. I don’t really want to know if it’s actually a “thing”.

Unfortunately, if you have a security clearance, you cannot use “CBD Oil”, as it is restricted at the Federal level the same as pot.
Federal law, Reefer Madness and over 100 years of political lobby has squashed legitimate research into CBD and it benefits.
