Mueller has to be absolutely desperate. The whole optics of this is enormously suspect.
At the end of it all Manafort may have to go all the way to the Supreme Court; if that happens I would expect Manafort to win 9-0. Not because of what I know about the case, but because of what we know about how Whitey Mueller has been so dishonest is past high profile cases.

It’s almost as if Mueller is forcing President Trump to shut the whole thing down so he can then pursue an obstruction case. He has no collusion.
