Reading Dr. Henry Cloud’s book “Boundaries with Kids”, authoritarian liberals fit the classic case of someone raised without boundaries. What they want is morally right and should be given to them. What they don’t like is to be forbidden, because they’re the most important thing in the world.
That if you love them, you’ll agree with them on everything. They think tolerance is endorsement, and anything less than that is equal to a personal attack/rejection.
They are thus undermining a major point of the 19th century "first wave" feminists, that logic and reason are exercised by women as well as men.
