Dems, Left Wing Media Claim Russian Hacking an ‘Act of War’

President Donald Trump’s refusal to rehash allegations of Kremlin-backed interference in the 2016 presidential election during a joint press conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin Monday incensed Democrat lawmakers and left wing media pundits.

Standing alongside Putin, President Trump steered clear of confrontation with the Russian, while questioning U.S. intelligence and last week’s federal indictments of 12 Russians for hacking into Democratic email accounts to purportedly hurt Hillary Clinton in 2016.“I have great confidence in my intelligence people, but I will tell you that President Putin was extremely strong and powerful in his denial today,” President Trump said following a two hour one-on-one meeting with his Russian counterpart. “He just said it’s not Russia. I will say this: I don’t see any reason why it would be.”

President Trump’s remarks prompted an onslaught of calls for the U.S. to respond to Russia’s alleged meddling, described as an “act of war.”

Leading up to the high stakes meeting between President Trump and Putin, CNN New Day host Chris Cuomo repeatedly accused Russia of “election hacking” to wage war against the U.S. “The big, ugly white elephant in the room will be the U.S. election hacking,” Cuomo speculated. “We’ve been calling it meddling, but I’m trying to stay away from the word because it’s just way too mild. This is an act of war.”

The CNN host described the Russian hacking allegations as “the truth”: “How does [Donald Trump] raise the act of war of the hacking and different attacks during the U.S. election when Vladimir Putin knows damn well that President Trump doesn’t really believe the truth and doesn’t put a whole lot of stock in the event itself?”

HuffPo’s Mike Signorile published an opinion-editorial on Monday morning affirming Russia committed an “act of war,”...

Two weeks before his inauguration, Donald J. Trump was shown highly classified intelligence indicating that President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia had personally ordered complex cyberattacks to sway the 2016 American election.

Yeah, but for which candidate ?

So does this mean we are now obligated to go to war with Russia, China, and North Korea who have hacked us?

Don't forget Canada, Mexico, France, Germany, and Japan.

16 Dec 2016: Belfast Telegraph: Julian Assange: Russian government not source of leaked DNC and Podesta emails - WikiLeaks editor contradicts CIA claims in new interview
Assange said: “We’re unhappy that we felt that we needed to even say that it wasn’t a state party. Normally, we say nothing at all.
“We have ... a strong interest in protecting our sources, and so we never say anything about them, never ruling anyone in or anyone out.
“And so here, in order to prevent a distraction attack against our publications, we’ve had to come out and say ‘no, it’s not a state party. Stop trying to distract in that way and pay attention to the content of the publication,” he told Hannity...

Last week Craig Murray, the former UK ambassador to Uzbekistan, who is a close associate of Assange, dismissed the CIA’s claims that Russia was the source of the emails as “bulls***”.
The accounts by Murray and Assange directly contradict the story advanced by the CIA...

Mr Murray said: “I know who leaked them. I’ve met the person who leaked them, and they are certainly not Russian and it’s an insider. It’s a leak, not a hack; the two are different things.
“If what the CIA are saying is true, and the CIA’s statement refers to people who are known to be linked to the Russian state, they would have arrested someone if it was someone inside the United States.
“America has not been shy about arresting whistleblowers and it’s not been shy about extraditing hackers. They plainly have no knowledge whatsoever.”
He then revealed to Dailymail.com that he had flown to Washington DC for a secret hand-off with one of the sources in September...

The Kremlin has also rejected the hacking accusations while Assange has also previously said the leaks were not linked to Russia...

15 Dec 2016: Daily Mail: EXCLUSIVE: Ex-British ambassador who is now a WikiLeaks operative claims Russia did NOT provide Clinton emails - they were handed over to him at a D.C. park by an intermediary for ‘disgusted’ Democratic whistleblowers
•Craig Murray, former British ambassador to Uzbekistan and associate of Julian Assange, told the Dailymail.com he flew to Washington, D.C. for emails
•He claims he had a clandestine hand-off in a wooded area near American University with one of the email sources
•The leakers’ motivation was ‘disgust at the corruption of the Clinton Foundation and the ‘tilting of the primary election playing field against Bernie Sanders’
•Murray says: ‘The source had legal access to the information. The documents came from inside leaks, not hacks’
•’Regardless of whether the Russians hacked into the DNC, the documents Wikileaks published did not come from that,’ Murray insists

We interfere in foreign elections all the time.

Heck, we've removed elected leaders we didn't like, see Mosaddegh.

The left is absolutely insane. They always project what they are and what they want. I have always had this feeling that they are itching for some kind of war. Clinton would have given them that opportunity.

The Marxist Liberals and MSM should start with Hillary’s home-brew server and all the countries that accessed her emails along with Obamas.

Perhaps the Marxist Liberals and MSM would like to explain Hillary and Obama’s treason since that’s their new buzz word.

China hacks us more than all other countries combined.

Based on the data and stats I see for the very large bank I work for, that's a true statement.

Europe and their economies would profit and do by holding Russia down. They have immense resources and are turning back to Christian faith, look into it I know you will find it is true. The “Godless” communists of the USSR have been removed and the nation is not the same. I am not denigrating the United States in which I was born in favor of them This is what a lot of research shows that in the larger sense does not involve our medias messages. Crimean Parliament and people voted to rejoin Russian Federation in 2014, here is the link which the usual suspects said was a sham, and that Russia “annexed” that country

https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/crimeas-parliament-votes-to-join-russia/2014/03/17/5c3b96ca-adba-11e3-9627-c65021d6d572_story.html?utm_term=.af83f1b84a37

This is critical as Crimea gives Russia a warm water port from which they can ship their goods and other products, like LNG, Oil and others. Denying them that access goes back a long time to the Crimean war with England who is utterly dependent on sea trade. Given access to this they can compete with European nations or trade more openly. In my assessment they are not the old Soviet Republic anymore. Putin was elected and it was not fixed as it used to be, he is working hard to rid his country of the Oligarchs and other parasites that were bleeding his country dry. We spend 10X the amount they do on Military, and more than the next 4-5 countries in the list combined.

China cannot be denied access to the Ocean and their issues are similar to Russia’s and even North Korea’s. Xi is Premier for life which means he can now break down the militarists hold on the country as can Kim in North Korea. The business o death leads no where but to the bank for those in the right positions, such as bankers and others. A Eisenhower called it, The Military Industrial Complex. He knows that his society is no longer The Maoist Red pajama wearing red book waving horde, but a country flush with business and having banking issues as he turns them from a Communist nation into one that can participate in the world, not take it over.

I know this all may seem a bit loony to some but the knot is being untied slowly but definably, it is most certainly not the world and world view I grew up in but I prefer peace to power conflicts always. That is not to say we suddenly lay down our arms and sing kumbaya, peace through strength but not always looking for fight to get into, or worse starting them as the “Agencies” have been doing for decades.

We have all we need here without really much from others except open markets and reciprocally structured trade agreements that are fair to both sides. The EU seeks to have things both ways and when Russia turns her ship of industry into the wind they better be ready, and I through and through do not see them as a conqueror, but a country that wants to exist and prosper where they are and from what they have and all the others should do do as well

The Democrats, their constituents and their rich sponsors of propaganda prefer nuclear war as the alternative to diplomacy.

Democrats don’t just want some little tussel in a sand trap, like say, Iraq. They want “the big one”. Nuclear bombs and everything.

Then Barry should have his NPP revoked: He’s the one who ordered the “stand down” implemented by Susan Rice.

Because nobody yet knew about the “stand down”.

Everything got turned on its head when Trump won and they’ve been digging a deeper hole and calling in markers ever since.

The larger, overarching question is whether they have the influence to keep the rats jumping from the sinking ship from singing...
