I’ve heard, in this country, bus drivers for city bus companies, say the worst routes are those which go into bad neighborhoods.

I read recently, about the Washington DC metro bus system. Drivers complained about being spat on, physically accosted or attacked, particularly in the bad neighborhoods. Drivers with less seniority were assigned the routes in bad areas.

On one particular route, in the bad Anacostia neighborhood of Washington, drivers regularly reported that someone was throwing rocks at the buses.

So what can be done, about the Brussels Muslim thugs? I wonder what if anything will be done?

Somehow, I doubt the the “migrants” in these Brussels suburb are from the ‘hood. In fact, I would be willing to bet that they make our feral Utes from the ‘hood look civilized by comparison.

Some years ago, when I first moved to Pittsburgh, I rode a bus that passed through a rough neighborhood. That particular day, it was hot and the air conditioning in the bus wasn't working.

Along the route I noticed children as young as 7 or 8 throwing rocks toward the bus. One rock made it through an open window opposite me, and sailed just past my head.

I never rode that bus again.

say the worst routes are those which go into bad neighborhoods.

And conversely, the best neighborhoods often have no bus routes at all.
