Sadly, I think a lot of African cities have similar squalor.
South Africa is becoming like that photo.
My wife has relatives working in a country close to S. Africa.
Years ago, they shopped and vacationed in S. Africa.
Now as obviously very white and blond Americans, they stay away from S. Africa.
