Socialist Democrat candidate for Congress Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in New York’s 14th District is calling on left wing and open borders activists to “occupy” all United States airports, all borders in the U.S., and every office of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency. In a panel discussion with Democracy Now!, Ocasio-Cortez called for an uprising against President Trump’s “zero tolerance” policy at the U.S.-Mexico border where all border crossers and illegal aliens are being criminally prosecuted.

I live in NJ, a dozen miles west of NYC - she’d have plenty of support here. These “leftists of color” are seeing the race war merge with the inter-generational conflict, as non-white young people look for funding from older white taxpayers - increasingly childless themselves. As whites abandon these areas, the infrastructure crumbles and the tax base collapses (often because whites’ employers are leaving as well); the imported “replacement Americans” (I know as a Puerto Rican this “da me esto” - “gibsmedat” is an American citizen) with their anchor babies then support anyone who calls for bringing someone else’s money back to the area. As the non-white urban populations demand more (all the government jobs, for example), they are unwilling to pay for anything themselves - white taxpayers elsewhere are expected to support this new minority caste of government workers and politicians.
This ideology is key to the Democratic Party platform; when ideas don’t work, appeal to envy coupled with racial hatred. As other FReepers have pointed out, she’s at least guaranteed that position for life (like Maxine Waters in her “safe” district); as the NYC metro area continues to deteriorate she could probably move up in NY state politics. Heck, here in neighboring NJ both of our senators are from the same mold - race-based politics combined with income re-distribution.
Yes, like the Black Lies Matter protesters they’re going to find that while they can tear up their own sh!tholes it is a different story when they start interfering with People Who Really Matter.
These antics just convince “normals” to do business elsewhere; right now Newark NJ is hoping to land an Amazon HQ, but it is unlikely. Many “normals” won’t work in Newark (since many jobs in the new economy are in suburban office parks anyway), and Newark itself can’t provide much of a workforce (while many of these tax incentives require hiring x% of the workforce from among the natives). If Amazon has any footage of BLM blocking downtown intersections a few years back they’ll get a look at who they are expected to feed, clothe, house, and “school” - no thanks!
The Five on Fox ran a clip of the little commie from a PBS show from last week. The Female host of the show actual asked some hard questions. Commie Cortez failed horribly. Greg Gutfeld savaged her, it was hilarious.
A democrat running for congress openly advocating the commission of felonies? A sane Democrat party would be pulling her party membership over this. A functioning DoJ would be assembling criminal conspiracy charges.
She can't afford to shut up. Her support base is from the radical Left. If they get bored with her, then she has no campaign workers.
