To: ding_dong_daddy_from_dumas

I think Iowa class which has a sleeker more narrow bow.South Dakota class is more blunt.Plus no catapults on the fantail which shows post WW2 and I think Korea.I believe most if not all of Dakota class were retired following WW2.

WW2 game designers modeled The Yamato class as better than Iowa class, but Iowa had much better fire control systems and superior ammunition, and that more than made up for the Yamato's bigger guns. However, no other WW2 ship could take as much punishment as the Yamato and its sister Musashi.
