Those of you old enough to remember will recall that 1976 was probably the most patriotic year in terms of the media, movies, TV series (remember The Adamses on PBS?) since WW2.
To have voted to spit on the flag (the equivalent of what Brennan did) in 1976 took a special kind of anti-American bile.

I am extremely unsurprised to learn he supported the Communist Party in the past. I can hardly think of someone in the public eye I would think it more likely to be an actual Communist.
Knowing that there are people like him in positions of power is one of the key reasons I’m still not sure I have faith in the future of this country, even with the progress Trump has made to save it.
