no, you got it right. An extraordinary level of hysterical messaging the like of which we have never witnessed before.
They know that Putin has access to information that could damage them and help clear president Trump.
But they don't know what or how much.
They have been able to keep our own anti-Trump intelligent agencies under control but they cannot control Putin.
They suspect that Putin has access to Hillary's missing e-mails and the info from Hillary's and the DNC's hacked servers.
And they're afraid that if he and president Trump get along Putin could release the e-mails and other information.
That's why they wanted president Trump to attack Putin,
They want the two to have an adversarial relationship in hopes that would kill any chance of Putin taking action that could damage Hillary
and/or the other real criminals involved in the elction rigging and the attempt to dethrone president Trump.
If Putin and president Trump have a constructive relationship it could make it more difficult for Trump's enemies to maintain the illusion
of the Russians being the criminals and election riggers instead of Hillary and others here at home.
That could. and probably would, endanger the ongoing cover-up of the criminal conduct by Hillary, the DOJ, FBI etc.
