Here you go: Anthony Bourdain, Parts Unknown: West Virginia.
How incredibly moving. I had never again watched Bourdain after one or two episodes years agoI thought he was just an obnoxious New Yorker all full of himself while slumming around the world. The humility and appreciation he displayed in this episode, the grace to admire the love and devotion and beauty of these people and their way of life, was amazing to watch.
I am sensing that this encounter with these people threw his soul into turmoil. I am so happy the people prayed over him and that he bowed his head and respected what they were doing in prayer. I hope his soul is redeemed. I don't know if he was murdered or not, but I hope for his sake he cried out to the Lord and was accepted, just as he accepted these people he had been encultured to abhor.
