SF Mayor: 'There's More Feces ... Than I've Ever Seen'
NBC Bay Area ^

Posted on 07/16/2018 6:09:11 AM PDT by SMGFan

San Francisco Mayor London Breed, in her first one-on-one interview since taking office, said homeless advocacy groups that receive funding from the city need to better educate the homeless to "clean up after themselves."

"I work hard to make sure your programs are funded for the purposes of trying to get these individuals help, and what I am asking you to do is work with your clients and ask them to at least have respect for the community — at least, clean up after themselves and show respect to one another and people in the neighborhood," Breed told the Investigative Unit, referencing her conversations with nonprofit groups aimed at serving the homeless.

When pressed about whether her plan calls for harsher penalties against those who litter or defecate on city streets, Breed said "I didn’t express anything about a penalty." Instead, the mayor said she has encouraged nonprofits "to talk to their clients, who, unfortunately, were mostly responsible for the conditions of our streets."

Here’s your reason

$$$ pure and simple.

https://www.ucsf.edu/news/2017/03/406096/ucsf-top-public-recipient-nih-research-funding-6th-consecutive-year

Bookoo NIH bucks pouring into UCSF to do medical research.

“These people” in the street are simply disposable test subjects, fresh meat, to keep the NIH Grants rolling in.

No matter what happens to them through UCSF, they’ve got nobody to raise a stink or file a lawsuit after the fact.

If you find that a stretch look at Bayer and others involvement in Germany’s WWII Concentration Camps.

Plastic grocery bags in SF?? Guess you missed that..

The San Francisco Bag ban was the first in the nation.

The San Francisco bag ban, first passed in 2007, was the first major law regulating carry out bags in the US. The ban is in line with the city’s desire to reach zero waste by 2020 and its dedication to environmental stewardship.

Liberal azzholes run the city and my guess is 99.9% of the homeless are liberal azzholes as well. Where ever liberals thrive they destroy everything.

A most excellent post. But such logic has no place in Her Honor’s world.

Maybe instead of free needles the city should hand out free latrine shovels.

My nephew lives there. He says he cannot walk one block to the train without seeing human poo. Every single day, different piles.

I guess when you pay homeless to be in your city, you get more homeless. Who knew?

Can he briefly explain how long this has been happening? If residents complained did they get any answers from authorities?

“show respect to one another and people in the neighborhood,”

It’s no wonder the children are
confused. Mad Max told them to do
the exact opposite.

It's only been in the last 3 years or so. He's lived there for about 8 years. He's trying to go somewhere else(out of CA) but he keeps falling into lucrative jobs so he stays.

FTA: need to better educate the homeless to “clean up after themselves.”

They should have learned that as a baby!

Pasteur, Germ Theory, and vaccines get all the credit, but much of the improvement of the 19th century was due to sanitation - and would have produced results all alone.

I wonder how she got elected if she’s ‘surprised’ by just how bad it is?

She won’t do a thing to clean it up. Nor will Pelosi. Trump would clean it up in no time.

The cleanest people in SF are the conservatives. There aren’t many of us here in SF.
