The Scotland police on Saturday arrested and charged a man in connection with the anti-Trump paraglider protest at President Trump's Turnberry golf course, according to the New York Times.
The police said in a statement that they had arrested the 55-year-old man in connection with an incident when a "powered parachute was flown in the vicinity of the Turnberry Hotel."
The man reportedly flew through a no-fly zone.
Videos shared on social media on Friday night showed a man flying over Trump's Scottish golf resort carrying a banner that read "Trump: Well Below Par."
The protest was apparently organized by Greenpeace, an environmental organization with chapters all over the world, who said they were hoping to draw attention to Trump's record on the environment and immigration.
The Greenpeace U.K. Twitter account posted they hit the president "where it hurts - at his golf course."
"Trump does not believe in climate change," Greenpeace tweeted on Saturday. "He's pulled the US out of the Paris Agreement, and is committed to burning more climate wrecking coal. We couldn't let him get away with a quiet game of golf... #resist"
The protest was one of dozens spawned by Trump's visit to the United Kingdom last week. Thousands of protestors marched across Scotland during the American president's visit over the weekend, decrying Trump's approach to foreign relations, immigration, the environment, and much more.
Several chanted "No Trump, no K.K.K., no racist USA!" as Trump played golf on Saturday, according to the Times.
Hundreds of thousands gathered to protest in London, accompanied by a blimp depicting Trump as a crying baby.
Trump's visit to the U.K. has so far between mired in controversy, from his derogatory remarks about U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May to his pointed insults about the media.
Trump is slated to meet with Russian President Putin on Monday, though he stated on Sunday that he has "low expectations" for the summit.
Donald Trump is not a danger to Britain.
The greatest danger to Britain is Islamic terrorism.
So why have Londoners wasted their time making a big cartoon balloon of Donald Trump in a diaper instead of one depicting the prophet Mohammed wielding a Molotov cocktail?
Because they’ve been terrorized by Islamic terrorism. Yet Donald Trump is a safe target for their anger.
So for the past few days the British and Europeans have been having a safe, enjoyable Midsummer Night’s Dream that America’s harmless if somewhat goofy-looking president is a threat to world civilization who, even at his worst, can be easily disarmed with their brilliant mockery and flyovers and Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade balloons.

A massive baby Trump balloon, organised by climate activists, was part of rolling protests that greeted the president in the UK on Friday

An infantile president deserves an infantile protest, according to those flying a Donald Trump baby balloon around Londons Parliament Square on Friday...
[Climate change] is the single greatest threat to anything anyone holds dear, said Max Wakefield, one of the self-appointed Trump babysitters. We have enough on our plate dealing with the racism, sexism, so we could do without piling ecological collapse on that....
Trump is wilfully wrecking the climate. We are all at threat from what Trump is doing, added Wakefield...

btw BBC gave widely-diverging police and organiser’s figures for the Scottish protest - check the pic - looks like about 4,000.
but BBC only used organiser figures for the London march, in all their reports I’ve seen, yet it looked like 20-30,000 max in the pics online:
14 Jul: BBC: Thousands joined Trump protest as US leader played golf

Tens of thousands of people - organisers claim up to 250,000 - protested in London on Friday against Mr Trump’s UK visit...
However, the UK government’s International Trade Secretary Liam Fox told the BBC that the anti-Trump campaigners were “an embarrassment to themselves”...
The paraglider stunt, which happened shortly after Mr Trump and his entourage arrived at Turnberry, was reportedly staged by Greenpeace.
Ben Stewart, a spokesman for the organisation, told the BBC: “It wasn’t dangerous at all. We let the police know about 10 or 15 minutes before that we were coming in.
“We phoned them, we had someone on the police line who informed them. We thought it was important that the president actually saw a real-life protester...
Police insisted they wanted to strike a balance between “protection and public safety and the public’s right to peacefully protest”.
However, Assistant Chief Constable Mark Williams said officers were committed to tracing the person who flew the aircraft.
He added: “There are armed assets protecting the president - both from the US Secret Service and ourselves and the Met Police, who offer a close protection function as well.
“And there’s no doubt anybody who breaches security around him puts themselves in grave danger.
“On this occasion we could assess the situation and we realised there was no direct threat to the president however it’s absolutely something that is very serious.”...
The baby Trump balloon that featured in protests in London on Friday was a feature of the Edinburgh protest.

just like CNN and other FakeNewsMSM, Baby Trump got as much or more attention from BBC as the President himself! that tells us a lot.
Western Europe is doing much worse than surrendering.
They are giving away their countries and culture and doing it with a smile.
They had better start caring as much as we do about their place in the world.
I would not be so concerned if this was just a problem of a European government going off the rails.
Time can fix those type of problems, but this is happening in the face of a de facto invasion by a people and culture alien to Western Civilization and culture.
If allowed to continue and advance there will be no correction or turning back outside of rivers of blood with no certainty of victory.
kanawa, you are so right when you say, “if allowed to continue.” My question is: when are those countries going to defend themselves??? We just went through eight years of horror. We asked ourselves “do we want this to continue?” And the answer was a resounding NO!! And behold we got major changes and our wonderful new President.
They must be made angry enough to start the healing in their respective countries. Until then, I have neither empathy nor sympathy. The country of my ancestors, Italy, has started on the right path. I pray they continue to be strong. (God bless them, they don’t have a very good record.)
