The photos are great but it’s too hard to see the pings.

Dolli I know the effort you put into reposting photos week to week. And bless you for it. But this does make it almost impossible to get to the actual thread and current posts.

Questions to all my fellow deplorables: 1) Do we need to have a weekly thread? Can't we just let it go ... with maybe a reminder post once in a while to members with ONE photo? 2) Do we really need to repost photos? It's really becoming very difficult to get through.

I'm not trying to be difficult guys, just trying to find a way to make accessing this wonderful thread easier.

I have only been posting information here at freerepublic since Trump came on the scene a few years ago. I have 35,984 pings. I also get pings from nice freepers to other threads daily. Yes, its difficult at times to find a past post but what trouble is it considering I've never started a thread..ever. (I respect and admire anyone who does)

So when someone complains about the pings in her account thats fine but to suggest to a great person who is without internet...posting from a hot van from the parking lot of a business...ON TOP OF being a great MOTHER to an older dog really makes me BOIL! And yes, I'm out of alignment and I don't give a Rats.A$$.

I sincerely respect sweet Yaelle's decision to not being pinged. Take care Yaelle and I hope your family is well. Please visit when you can.

To suggest we here,(selfishly bring us here into your disrespectful whine) find it hard to go through pings as you seem to think RV is disrespectful and hurtful to Dolly whom I have so much love and respect for. In fact it makes me cry that you even think her beautiful photos posted here every week is too many. ************************************************

PLEASE Dolly RV Does Not speak for me in any way!! I LOVE your weekly thread post and have noting but admiration for what you are able to accomplish with so many difficulties in your life but able to successfully organize and present a wonderful thread for us. Woodstock you are AMAZING and mush appreciated.

The pictures are wonderful and I enjoy them. Many are pictures I wouldn’t normally see. When I get on the thread throughout the week, it only takes a few seconds to scroll past the pictures if I don’t want to view them again. I guess if people don’t appreciate pictures they can start their own thread.

Ladies.. I have removed you both from the ping list.. and you can find us easily with keywords etc.

Pax and I try to keep ping pix at a minimum. At this point we do a daily ping. We are both up to modify this if everyone wants to maybe go to a Sunday posting and Tues and Thurs Ping for example. NO dictatorship here! LOL

Ray had HUGE pings with sometimes 30 pix and we did have dozens of people leave the thread for that reason. He worked very hard for us with pix and news postings and we miss him but for many the large pings were problematic

Currently here on the Dose —The opening post and new thread is to be a recap of the prior week. I use your info and pix for the most part.. sometimes I hunt around elsewhere. This too is open for modification if the majority want change.

Sometimes the best pix are AP, Reuters etc. This morning I had thread ready to post in the preview box and HORRORS there were 8 pix from either AP or Reuthers... So another half hour of modifying the HTML to not get thread pulled for being naughty. NOT fun in 90 degree temps in the van in front of library

So this week with all going on had a lot of activity and pix. Some weeks I am hurting with very few things occurring and very few pix.. those threads are much smaller
