IT only takes a simple majority to impeach

That's true, but I was discussing Congress's unwillingness to defend its institutional privileges, which are actually OUR privileges to govern ourselves, DELEGATED to them in Article I.

Congress cannot function as intended if the party in the minority seeks to govern through the Executive, or through the courts.

And, of. course, a party line impeachment of Rosenstein would be worse than useless, and could cause great harm, as the impeachment of Clinton did.

The chatter is that if the full truth is revealed and released on Rosenstein, impeachment may seem to be too soft.

Rosenstein has a past and has close ties with the wrong people. He is implicated in criminal wrongdoing.

He’s been given a chance to step down quietly. His controllers are not allowing him. He’s every bit as psycho as Strzok.

The impeachment vote will not occur unless it has to. And before such a vote, there will be a release of info on Rosenstein that will be damning.

Don’t agree that Clinton’s impeachment caused harm. It forever stained him and does so to this day as it should. Today he is nothing more than a creepy clown. If it hadn’t happened, Clinton would be, even today, rubbing it in the face of those that said he should have been to which he would assuredly retort that the impeachment against him failed because the Republicans had nothing.

I am not quite convinced that Rosenstein should be impeached.

What he said was accurate. He cannot possibly review in detail every redaction made in every document provided to Congress. He has to rely on staff to do those things. And when that staff has been infiltrated with partisans, his job becomes almost impossible.

The real question should be how the DOJ and FBI ended up with so many partisans in high places. Comey and Lynch surely bear responsibility for that. I also have serious questions about Mueller.
