If RR were removed from office, who would replace him? Remember that senate RINOs promised to block any Trump-nominated replacement.

By now there is a mountain of evidence of obstruction, lying, stonewalling and defiance. Its not just RR; Trump needs to clean house.

To be brief, I believe he should make an address before the American people to outline the need for reforming the obviously out of control and no longer trusted DOJ and FBI. These agencies have been politicized and weaponized. Most people see that and would support the president in his efforts to restore accountability and integrity.

In view of the massive amount of evidence of corruption, partisanship and malfeasance, Trump can easily make a convincing case for “re-setting” or restructuring these agencies by cleaning house. It would put some senators in the politically indefensible position of defending specific acts of subversion and the manipulation of our election process.

It just so happens that Peter Strzok has given Trump a made-to-order poster boy for what’s wrong with DC and why he needs to reform it. Anybody who watched the Strzok spectacle see’s that.

In the government people are placed in “acting” positions all the time. People can be replaced by temporary appointees and through the use of recess appointments.

It wouldn’t be easy, but it is necessary. We are at a crossroads and there’s only one way to go from here in my opinion. And that is to get on with repairing or restructuring these rogue agencies and removing the partisans who infest them.

The Trump White House has already thought that one through.

There is a law that allows the President to select certain persons as Acting to replace an impeached, resigned, or fired appointed official.

There is a list of names of persons that will step in. They have 210 days to act as the official they replaced. 210 days put the confirmation vote past the midterms.

I think things may have changed enough to overcome that. Mitch getting accosted by Liberal Fascists while walking to his car from dinner is one of the key events. A year and a half an nothing substantive from Mueller regarding Trump is another.
