Yes, indeed. Manchin knows his state. Damn shame he’s remained a Democrat. I know that his daughter is a very rich woman from something to do with pharmaceuticals or healthcare. Not sure about Manchin’s personal wealth.
His daughter is the person who raised the cost of the EpiPen to where it became unaffordable for most who need it. At least that’s the story I remember.
His voting record will tell you why he’s a Democrat. This isn’t Zell Miller voting 90% Conservative. Manchin votes very left wing. His American Conservative Union rating in 2017 was an 8(!)

His daughter was the pharmaceutical executive who raised the price of epipens to $600 after a scam that involved the Clinton Foundation passed a law in NJ that every single school district had to provide epipens to their schools. Allegedly, a witness who was about to testify against the Clinton Foundation and others in this scam was killed when her house blew up just recently.
