As a 29 year Resident in Kansas, I will tell you the only socialism one might observe is in pockets in Wichita and Lawrence.
IIRC—She got 16,000 votes in an election that had a “STUPENDOUS” 20% turnout. For the 80% who went to schoolin New York, that means that EIGHT out of TEN voters did not care to vote or were busy out looking for one of the thousands of JOBS that have opened up since DJT moved into the White House.
However, one isn’t allowed to look at all the facts when writing up headlines.
If the GOP only had a candidate to challenge her in November -
And Johnson County (Kansas City Burbs) as well.
Is there a republican candidate for Nov?
I believe there is, but he's a joke. Not a serious guy.
I was a the Kevin Yoder / Pence fundraiser last week. Kansas is not going socialist. Perhaps in Lawrence KS but not the rest of the state.
Over 58,000 US military deaths in Vietnam, over 150,000 required hospitalization for injuries, and over a million people lost their lives in that war - which was largely an attempt to stop the spread of Communism. For what? Now we have US presidential candidates and other US politicians openly campaigning for socialism. In the meantime, Jane Fonda was in Washington already campaigning against SC nominee Kavanaugh. What exactly did all those people give their lives for?
Comrade Bernie uses his Velcro party label when convenient - Independent then Democrat - then loses in the primaries after being politically sodomized by Hillary, Donna, and Debbie - then goes back to Independent. Now as an Independent backs a Socialist/Democrat. Oh well. Comrade Bernie is a pure Socialist-Communist in search of something.
then both candidates are jokes. But one is dangerous.
There is our standard explosion of ignorance, an attempt to divide our voters.
She’s the new “Rising Star” of the democRAT PARTY dontcha know.
Who is the joke going to be on?
At least the Republican cared enough to enter the race rather than just bluster over his keyboard.
I don't live in that district; I am not eligible to run against her even if I wanted to. The blustering comes from over your keyboard, not mine.
Kansans ; do the right thing
Uh oh.
Kansas?
KANSAS????
True story: while on a nuclear navy familiarization trip in ‘73 we were driven by limo form LaGuardia to Groton. CT.
The driver, upon hearing that we were from Kansas asked if we still had much of a problem with buffalo stampedes. (I actually believe he was not joking)
Baby got them crazy eyes.
Perfect.
That dude looks so gay...
You do not have to live in a district to be its congressman.
I am not the one calling a candidate who care “a fool.”
Why would you do that? What good does that do?
