Or, telling one another that they wouldn’t take a bullet.
Seems to be the norm, these days.
When I worked at an Air National Guard base as a civilian security policeman a Secret Service agent took me to the top of the big hanger overlooking Air Force 2 and Marine 2 since I had the M-16 that shift instead of a revolver. He said “if you see something you don’t like, shoot it.” Thinking he was pulling my leg, I laughed. He said, “no, I’m serious. On my authority.” Okay. Whatever you say.
GOD only knows....
This was Greenpeace.
Should have shot this guy out of the sky. No reason to allow this!?
This guy could have taken Trump out with ease. He was right on top of him.
Those Europeans sure cranked security up for Trump's visit, tight as a rat's patoot.
We're lucky the snipers didn't shoot Trump to keep him from saying something harsh about the microlight pilot.
Just like the Sheriffs Department of Parkland, Florida holding pattern, in which they also just watched as the event unfolded.
Sadly very true.
I lived there for a year in '89/'90. I got so rooted to the place, that I was seriously considering legally emigrating there.
I truly loved the land and its people, but in the end, I chose to come home to the USA.
It was one of the most fortuitous decisions I ever made.
Wow, I really like President Trump! Bows to no one, unlike that piece of crap Obama on his apology tours.
Never lived there, but have friends who did/do still; so even though I have done "touristy" stuff, I've also been fortunate enough to see and do what only the locals know about.
You were there when England was STILL ENGLAND, writ large!
In the end, you did make the right choice; all things considered.
We don’t believe in inherited nobility and royalty so why should we bow to it?
Americans and especially our presidents are NOT supposed to bow to anyone!
Protester should have immediately been gunned down.
Wake me up when they are pulling stunts in China, North Korea or Red Square.
The same can be said about those brave souls at amnesty international.
It seems that the “No Fly Zone” around President Trump’s security is just about as meaningful as the mayor of London’s “gun-free” and “knife-free” zones of his crime-infested capital city.
I always marveled at the brazen bravery Greenpeace would show against western powers during the cold war. The Soviet Union? Not so much.
= = = = = = = = = = = = =
Probably because the Soviets wouldn’t put up with that crap.
SHOOT TO SINK... or something like that....
In the 60s and so a bunch of foreign diplomats were being kidnapped and held for ransom, including US.
Somone made a mistake of kidnapping a Russian and the Russians ‘snatched’ up one of the kidnapper sympathizers and started sending him back home, a piece at a time.
A finger, a toe, a finger, an ear etc etc wasn’t long before the Russkie was back home and a new ‘handicapped’ person showed up in his homeland as a lesson of who not to fornicate with.
Once you stop treating dangerous animals like dangerous animals, they start overrunning you...best to stay a step ahead of the troglodytes.
Israel knows how how to handle terrorist kidnappers as well.
They would have been justified to drop that aircraft, end the threat. I’m surprised they didn’t.
