I used to love the FBI. I saw it as the main deterrent to Communist subversion. Watched many episodes of Efrem Zimbalist Jr. portraying and FBI agent.
Now I totally despise them.

They are now a tool of the Deep State.
And good, honest patriotic Americans will no longer enter the FBI. The FBI will recruit people who have no scruples and have no loyalty to American ideals.
I know a young college student, a 2nd gen immigrant from Mexico, dreamed all his life of being an FBI agent, getting his masters in criminal justice from a west coast prestigious school, who is now interning at the FBI and ready to work there soon. Sad for good young guys like this.
