The baby who died was vaccinated, so what is the problem?

My family was into natural living before it was fashionable-I grew up that way-living on a remote ranch, it was easy to keep us kids within the group of relatives we’d been accustomed to since we were infants, and there were very few vaccines given to little kids-none of them to tiny infants. I married another ranch kid, and we raised our cub the same way-again easy because we lived outside of town, so we were able to do as we thought best to keep our cub safe-limited exposure to outsiders and I stayed home and cared for her- my aunt was our only nanny after that-no “daycare”. We got her vaccinated on our schedule, not anyone else’s-there still weren’t many-DPT she got at about 4 months, polio shortly after and the measles one was pretty new-she got that at 4 and the smallpox one shortly after-but none of this slamming her immune system with a barrage of stuff like today-I think it is harming these children to do that-it just isn’t natural.
She had already had mumps and chicken pox the natural way before she started to kindergarten-it was Catholic school for her until HS-my hubby gladly worked 2 jobs for a couple of years to afford that, and for me to be a stay-at-home mom the 1st few years-after, it was my stay-at-home aunt as nanny-I did not leave my cub with strangers.
Sometimes when I read articles like this one, I wonder why parents don’t pay more attention to caring for and protecting the precious children they are gifted with, letting strangers tell them when to expose them to meds, vaccines, etc at an increasingly young age-I know I’m just an old hippie earth mother type, but there is something very wrong with treating human babies like we treat newborn calves, goats, piglets, etc on ranches-those animals will be sold/slaughtered as food...
