After 9-11, if Bush had said that we need to build a wall, and tightly control our borders, the majority in congress, and the population as a whole, would have supported that, and it would have been done. Instead, he yapped about “security” and making Americans take off their shoes, and be treated like criminals at airports, while he left the border completely open, and didn’t give a hoot about who was sneaking in. Bush was a traitor then, and he’s still a traitor today.
“Instead, he yapped about security and making Americans take off their shoes, and...”
He was also the first to lecture us on the wonderful religion of peace, and mohammad (piss be upon him).
Bush had a choice to make. How to stick to the globalist, open-borders agenda, while at the same time rooting out Islamic terrorism threats to the USA? Bush had to weaponize our intelligence services, and give them vast powers of surveillance. He also helped form the Deep State, with creation of Homeland Security, Directorate of National Intelligence, etc... Patriot Act, etc... Let's not even discuss Iraq.
We saw yesterday with Peter Strzok how those powers were abused.
Bush and his cronies wouldn't even allow any restrictions or additional vetting for people entering the country from the nations that produced the 9/11 terrorists - i.e. Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries, because that would have been "racial profiling".
