Republican senators called Thursday for the Senate to approve a resolution putting the chamber on record in support of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, saying the governments top deportation agency does critical work in keeping the country safe.
Led by Sens. Ted Cruz and John Kennedy, the resolution counters the call from a growing number of Democrats to abolish ICE over anger at the agencys role in detaining and deporting illegal immigrants.

Meanwhile, Rubio, McCain, Graham, Murkowsky, Alexander, Corker, Hatch, Heller, Flake and the rest of the Bush league Republicans are trying to amnesty them and make ICE unnecessary.

‘Scuse me while I just take a moment to revel in the fact that in 2018 Senator John Kennedy is a Republican... like his namesake would have to be to get anywhere in politics these days.
