Citing ongoing investigation?
Such a handy principle ... create a bogus investigation, make up some phony allegation, leak it to the press, then refuse to discuss on the basis that there is an ongoing investigation. It is an impenetrable device, and is most likely to be used when what is involved is the worst conduct.
