Merriam-Webster:

customer - one that purchases a commodity or service

There is no evidence than Mr. Jason F. White purchased the merchandise in question. Therefore, Mr. White was not a customer at the time of the incident.

Mr. Dean Crouch was falsely accused by Academy Sports of placing his hands on the "customer" Mr. White, who was not a customer at the time.

Mr. Crouch needs a good attorney to sue Academy Sports.

This criminal could have used the weapon stolen to commit violent crimes in the community. WTF is wrong with Academy?

A good lawyer would never take the case because Mr. Couch is likely an "employee at will," which means that Academy Sports has the legal right to fire him at any time for any reason or no reason at all, provided he is not terminated because of his race, ethnicity, religion, age, gender, or in some states, sexual identity.
