Plus Texas is getting closer to being purple each month as massive illegal immigratikn continues and a massive influx of Californians into Texas. It could be a blue state by 2020 or 2024. It’s true that Trump won Texas with 52.23%. If that’s the only number that you look at, you might reach the conclusion that it was a slim margin.
The problem is that Hillary! only received 43.24%. She barely improved Obama in 2012 who won 41.4% and did WORSE than Obama in 2008 who won 43.7%
Third parties pulled in over 4% of the vote in 2016. Gary Johnson took over 3% alone.
That’s where the Trump vote went. Those were the conservative/GOP voters who were wrongfully wary of Trump but were definitely not going to vote for Hillary!
