I’m assuming there’s some way we are certain these are in fact their real parents. Otherwise, blood test time!
Most people south of the border do not understand (nor care) about rules and laws. Everything is pushed to the limit before some policeman pulls them over and demands a “mordidita” payment in the palm for their inconvenience.
Case in point... Do you think a stop sign means stop to them? No, they will casually observe and coast through. Speed limits ????? Ha.
So, when it comes to concept of what being illegal is... they don’t care. They will continue do it as long as they can get away with it...
BINGO they pull every scam to get in parasites.
Exercising the constitutionally mandated authority of the executive branch is part of the checks and balances intended by the framers. Many presidents have invoked executive authority to overrule lower court judicial decisions. There is much precedent for doing so. The president is not a private citizen like you or I.
I'd like to know who the Repub lawyers are who are advising this White House to take such a very dangerous path, the net effect of which is to TRANSFER AUTHORITY FROM THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH WHERE IT BELONGS, OVER TO AN INCREASINGLY ACTIVIST JUDICIARY.
In short, it's the weak and feckless Pubbies backing off and slinking away like they always do.
I do.
Some goodly fraction of these kids barely met those "parents" before their real parents turned them over to be smuggled into America.
Surprised it took 21 replies to point out the obvious.
Will PDJT ever fully secure our border with the lawlessness Mexicans?
The kids are staying in the nicest place they have ever seen, with air conditioning, beds, food, bathrooms(clean ones!) and supervised recreation with other kids their age(hopefully). I’m not surprised that there would be a few that are resisting reunification with their handlers.
Military men and women are gone longer and their kids recognize them.
I believe my response is based on the judge’s ruling on immigration, and has nothing to do with Mueller at this point.
Yes, some federal judges are wielding too much power. Wisdom chooses when and how to challenge them.
The Democrats are hanging themselves with their handling of immigration. Remember that old advice, “never interfere when your enemies are in the process of destroying themselves”?
OH my goodness -— their children are that stupid? They can’t recognize their own parents? What chance do these kids have in a modern society when they can’t even handle the innate survival instinct of recognizing their parents for nurture?
OR -— were they simply purchased along the way to make entry into the US easier??? Maybe the kids are smart enough to know that their “owners” aren’t their parents after all!!!
We know what our President’s desire is when it comes to the border.
It all boils down to the political will of the house and senate.
I pray for a continuation of President’s Trumps successes both nationally and on the international scene. These accomplishments will only increase his stature and political clout with the Pubs and the general public. I pray for a positive outcome in the midterms. If the Pubs continue to gain numbers in the house and senate, then this process can be more easily effected.
I am fearful of the new leadership in Mexico. With his socialist leaning, the clock is ticking as we will see something similar to Venezuela.
Military men and women are gone longer and their kids recognize them.
My son worried about what the reaction would be from his childen when he would come home from a six or seven month deployment on a submarine. They always greeted him with smiles and hugs. Even his nine month old son who was only two months when my son left seemed to recognize him.
Probably because they never saw their parents when then were living in their home country.
____
That’s my suspicion.
Probably NOT their parents!!
first thought that I had. I guess that I don’t trust the media (ha ha ha).
My three-year-old daughter once accompanied my wife (her mother) to my wife's homeland for four weeks. Upon returning, she at first acted as though she didn't recognize me. She was distant and cautious, and reluctant to speak English. So this is possible.
Nevertheless, there's one simple solution: Don't enter illegally!
Regards,
BS. An infant let alone a three year old child certainly recognizes his parents. Some hesitation is normal after not seeing a parent for sometime. It does not have to be lengthy. Witness how some children react when being picked up at daycare.
Then those children probably have a developmental deficit. Its not like its been years. Perhaps its the first time they have seen their parent clean.
Probably because your not the true parent!
