I've noticed two pro tariffs groups. The "all tariffs all the time" group and the "oh, don't worry it's just a temporary negotiating tactic" group. We'll see who's right in time. I think the latter is deeply in denial. Even if this matter resolves in time, which I am beginning to doubt, the inflation is going to remain forever, not to mention the residual damage caused by supply chain disruptions, etc.
But it affects the economies of both sides of the tariff war, does it not?
Why is the US imposing tariffs bad, but the rest of the world gets a pass on their tariffs?
