I don’t view it as helping Trump, but he obviously likes Kavanaugh. That probably means he is a creature of the Swamp. That I don’t like.
Will be interesting to see where Mike Lee comes down on this. We know Rand Paul doesn’t like, but he doesn’t like anybody . . . and apparently, not many people like him.

Same here. If ass clonw here made a dramatic entrance like last time just to piss off Trump, then I think Trump made the right decision. Then again, he did pick Sessions...
That is dumb logic. John McCain has voted for every GOP-picked Supreme Court justice. Are Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito and Neil Gorsuch bad too? Maybe McCain simply wants to move the Court to the right, and there's not some nefarious deep state swamp conspiracy behind it.
