Judge Napolitano indeed said that Kavanaugh was the DC Swamp choice. I was really surprised.

None of the finalists were perfect in every way. Kavanaugh has a long history, is well admired and conservative on most issues. Yes, there is a very slight chance of his being soft on a couple of issues (but not a Souter, or even Kennedy). Hard for the left to credibly Bork Kavanaugh.

Personally, I would have preferred Amy Coney Barrett - they would have attacked her with such vitriol, maybe even killing her nomination, that GOP would have done significantly better in mid-terms; the anger would bring out the big numbers. Then she would be a cakewalk in January. However, when FBG finally retires, Amy will step right up.

If they succeed in derailing Kavanaugh, it will bode well for mid-terms as well; we’ll get him approved in January with our larger Senate.

Kavanaugh was part of the GWB administration, making him a DC insider. However, he had the good sense to have married a Texan. Napolitano is more of a sour grapes kind of guy. Didn’t get offered the job, didn’t get his favorite alternative for the job. He’s been off on his predictions a lot of times the last couple of years.

Tell Napolitano to look at the list of 25 judges Trump submitted during the campaign.

Kavanaugh is on the list. If Napolitano was worried about BK he should have brought the issue up then and not waited until DJT did what he said he would do.

Napolitano's string pullers are making him look even more foolish than he ordinarily does.

Must have totally missed the Judge. He and I do part ways on some of his more rigid libertarian stances but would have really questioned him lumping Kavanaugh “the Swamp!”

I know Judge A.N. hated a number of Bush government “personal privacy” incursions issues and certainly understand them.

I’ll definitely more carefully listen closely to Napolitano.

That being said, I strongly objected the worst incursion of Pres. Bush’s acts and statement after 9/11, was the numerous claims that Islam is a “Religion of Peace!”

I so totally disagree with those ideas as after originally being in disagreement with it, I now strongly am convinced Islam is a murderous satanic cult!

Muslims practicing Islam are totally opposed to our religious freedom that is acknowledged and confirmed in our Constitution and I would take this further would prevent its adherents from coming into the U.S. even to visit as they have proven themselves a danger to American citizens!
