How do you know that? Were you there when he was President? Sure, he gets the nod for being our first President, but in terms of issues needing to be dealt with, I doubt Washington would measure up against what Trump is facing. Washington had a country that was united in its desire to succeed and to tell the British to go home, not at all like the 45% of this country that are $hit people today, most of whom have come here as immigrants to see if they can subvert our form of government.You need to go back to history class if you believe that the "country" was united about succeeding and getting the British out. I put "country" in quotes for a reason as it was not our country or even A country at the time.

I never realized until recently that Washington was a badass field marshal on the battlefield before becoming president.
