I wonder about the Hollywood version.
We know they are Thai. Are there enough boys in Hollywood of Thai ancestry, to play the parts?
And in today’s PC world, would the movie be made as an English speaking movie? But if they did have Thai ancestry boys play the parts, wouldn’t it violate political correctness if they speak English in the movie?
Maybe Asians speaking English, and overdubbed for other languages. I’m not sure they need to go to the trouble of as authentic looking a production as “Passion of the Christ.”
So they don’t do it in English-—so what?
I have seen plenty of captioned foreign films.
.
Not to worry, I am sure they will make up for it by portraying one or two as gay and at least one tranny.
It will be made as a musical about a diverse team of ladyboys heading off to a disco karaoke competition but are sidetracked and experience grief sorrow and the real meaning of teamwork.
I want to see Brad Pitt as the Coach, and for the boys, an assortment of kids from the Harry Potter movies.
