Armor is still necessary, but the anti-tank missiles and rockets available today render them highly vulnerable.

This is a good, badly-needed idea. Our anti-air capabilities at the tactical level are....not so great. We’ve depended solely on air dominance for a long time, and there’s no guarantee of that in any future conflict.
