Heck, as someone who has been on here for over 18 years, the dirty little secret is most on Freerepublic fully and wholeheartedly supported "W" during those same years, there was some friction on his Medicare Drug Plan and Amnesty, but other than those support was near absolute. I remember a time if you criticized Bush you would nearly be kicked off the site...
I don’t recall that at all.
I openly opposed his military incompetence, his replacement of the function of the Coast Guard with what are effectively mall cops, his open borders policy, and the “religion of peace” crap.
All of those things were mockworthy, so I gave them the response they merited.

I still love W I think he was a great president. Reagan was my favorite till now. Trump has superseded him in general.
