A top gang prosecutor in San Bernardino County, Calif., is reportedly under investigation for a series of offensive social media posts aimed at figures including Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) and former first lady Michelle Obama.
The Orange County Register reported on Monday that Deputy District Attorney Michael Selyem, who joined the district attorneys affice 12 years ago, is the target of an internal probe after sharing, and since deleting, offensive social media posts about Mexican immigrants and the victim of a police shooting. The posts have sparked demands for his dismissal.
The O.C. Register reports that Selyem posted a doctored image of Obama holding a sign that said Trump grabbed my penis," and also called Waters a "loud-mouthed c---."
Being a loud-mouthed c#nt in the ghetto you would think someone would have shot this bitch by now he reportedly said in a post.
The newspaper also reports that Selyem is being investigated for comments he made about a victim of a police shooting. He reportedly said in argument over the incident that That sh*tbag got exactly what he deserved. You reap what you sow. And by the way go f--- yourself you liberal sh*tbag.
The OC Register notes that it is unclear what shooting was being alluded to by Selyem, who is a lead attorney in a unit tasked with cracking down on criminal gang activity.
Selyem also called out a Budweiser Super Bowl ad earlier this year, saying I am all for white males immigrating here legally and starting a business."
"It is the terrorist aholes sneaking in here wanting to kill me an (sic) my family that I am opposed to," he added. "I cannot believe how shallow democrats are. They must really think people are stupid. I guess that is evident because they actually thought Hilary (sic) Clinton could win a presidential election TWICE!!! LMFAO!!!
The DA's office has known about the social media posts since June 25, after someone within the office complained about him.
We have been made aware of the negative comments and they do not represent the views of the District Attorneys Office. Since this is a personnel matter I cannot comment any further," outgoing District Attorney Mike Ramos said in a statement.
The OC Register notes that before Selyem's posts were deleted, his rants were captured in screenshots that were then sent to Los Angeles accountant Pedro Cala. Cala then forwarded them to public officials and the Southern California News Group.
If he had made offensive posts about Trump he would be given a raise.
For example, suppose I work at a Ford dealership. The 1A wont protect me if I tell a customer that Toyota makes better cars. If management finds that out...Im gone.
Surprisingly, you’re wrong.
The Dept of Labor regulations provide that employees may discuss work matters on social media, including defamation of the employer, without consequence.
Comes under the heading of worker’s rights to organize and communicate.
Worked for a company 6 years ago that lost a wrongful termination suit due to this rule.
Right to work State or no?
I'm a tad confused by the last sentence.
Who is Pedro Cala? Some kind of big shot?
Yep. somebody’s got a serious alcohol problem.

Very interesting. Thanks for posting that.
Let me ask a follow-up question. Does that Labor regulation also apply to at-will employees? I’ve always thought that an at-will employee could be fired for any reason, or for no reason at all.
And I thought the only exception was that you cannot fire an at-will employee for a “protected class’ reason. For example, you cannot fire him just because of his race.
Tasteless, crass, stupid ~ but he is entitled to his opinions...
If I understand this correctly, he used his real name to blow off some blue language steam on the internet? If so, he’s an idiot. Plain and simple. This is 2018, after all.
Never ever, ever use your real name for posting anything on the internet. Even your favorite guacamole recipe or whatever. Somehow, some time, it will come back to bite you.
“Id bet good money that you are right. Anyway, this guy is a prosecutor. He can destroy lives. So if he said what he is accused of saying, he needs to resign or be fired, pronto.”
No, he shouldn’t resign as long as Maxine Waters, Durbin and Schumer can continue their hate campaigns. When they resign, this prosecutor can resign.
Right to work State or no?
Yes, I’m in PA.
I couldn’t believe it when they won the suit. I thought as you did. Craziness.
Great question. I’m not sure. This was a right-to-work state and a salaried full-time employee.
