I was taught to keep my feet off the furniture and have never scared up my desk with my shoes. But then I have refinished nearly every stick of furniture in the house and know not to treat it with disrespect.

I was also taught to respect the furniture, taught my kids the same, we may have had 2nd hand when they were growing up but I told them it was ALL we had and if it gets really shabby I’ll get rid of it, sitting on the floor wasn’t that appealing I guess because they were respectful.

I have seen people put their “feet” on a piece of furniture, but it always with the soles of their feet/shoes vertical and not touching the furniture (still rude). Zer0 is in a class(less) of his own.
