Maybe Boris will replace May. That would be interesting.

he should return the favor by expressly and openly meeting with Nigel Farage

Excellent comment. Trump could casually mention that he gets a kick out of the balloon, but he's not quire sure what that accomplishes. But, anyway, he's going to have a great meeting with Nigel Farage, who is a great guy with great ideas. A guy who could do great things for the UK, and hopefully will be playing a bigger role in the future.

The balloon is an empty gesture. Farage is significant. Checkers vs Chess.

An election would be a disaster. The anti-Brexit advocates want a do-over. Labor wants to remain in the single customs union, including allowing free movement of workers within the EU and the UK.

Trump could help May by proposing a major trade deal. UK consumers would benefit immensely, especially in the area of food and agricultural products.

BBC has the house of commons live and it looks a big joke

I am watching it now. Let me in on the "big joke", I must be missing something.

I work with a lot of Germans.

I jokingly told them over beers “You guys control the EU!”

They all said “Yeah, and we want to give it back!!!”

Merckle is not loved.

A big issue over there is the matter of the Irish/Northern Ireland border. With Britain & Ireland in the EU there is no border control. With Britain out of the EU, what’s to happen with that border in regards to the movement of people and goods?

May was clear that UK would not accept border controls between NI and the Republic.

Nigel Farage should get an invitation to the US Embassy in London when PDJT is in the embassy. The embassy is US property so he can meet with anyone he wants on US property.
