We had plenty of “dignity” with McCain and Romney. How’d that work out for us?
I never considered mccain or romney, dignified. Trump is the first since Reagan who tells us the truth... I voted for Trump for a man who intended to work fast and fight for this side of the equation. A man who fights like Trump does, can do it by using a more dignified way of using words. A man can insult and give the liberals what they deserve, by being a level ahead and a level up, from where they live.
Stay on top of the dems’ tricks and answer them.. explain to the people and treat the dems as children.. they would be busy trying to rebuke that attitude toward them... and the attacks would be less.. put them on the defensive and stay poised for attack... but do it with class. it would bring a lot of the never Trumpers, over to his side.
You FReepes who don’t see anything wrong with being rude and crude, are younger than I am and you grew up in a culture with that being the norm. so you don’t see anything wrong with it... it’s distatesful and a smart fighting attitude would reduce the hatred at him...
You can be as rude as Trump is toward his attackers... but to do it on here to another freeper.. it’s not called for. I know what it used to be in our culture/society... and today, behind a computer.. then in public... it’s just rudeness gone amuck!
There are people I know who won’t look at Trump for what he’s accomplished.. they can’t get past his ways.. his talk, whatever. I was on his train the first time I saw him as a candidate. For those who are stuck on who they thnk he is... it’s a shame.. for he is doing a good job and keeping his promises.. the country is benefiting.. but they can’t get past first impressions.
I have a son who is an attorney in NJ.. he can’t talk about who he voted for, and take the chance of losing his job. Trnasgenders are already in with the upper level.. being a Trump supporter is not allowed. It’s not safe to have a Trump sticker on the car or wear a hat... Even tough you can say it doesn’t matter... it does matter if you have a family and a good job.. just the people are lefties... amd no sense. But every time Trump insults in his language, he makes it worse for the supporters who are in the public eye and out there to be attacked.
If you are not in a vulnerable position, then it won’t matter... but to some, it does.
