NSA is roughly 1/3 military. Outgoing DIRNSA was Admiral Rogers, I didn’t pay any attention as to who (What service!) replaced him. By statute the NSA DIRNSA must be military.

Thank you. I did not know that. I do know some Navy personnel who worked there.

Trump could have easily stopped this and turned it into a noisy “destruction of evidence” issue related to the Special Prosecutor and to the political corruption at the DOJ and FBI.

Instead, Trump does nothing.

While I’m at it...

Judicial Watch and Congress have filed at least a dozen requests for documents from the DOJ and FBI, which the agencies completely ignore.

Trump could release every one of those documents tomorrow morning.

Instead, he does nothing.

I expect he will do so in October when Mueller attempts his Midterm October Surprise.
