To: SoCal Pubbie
If you took out the cities of Los Angeles and San Fransisco the state would vote majority republican.

So in the real world, how do we simply omit these population centers? And again, if it's never going to happen, why bother even mentioning it? Comments like yours are pie in the sky from my perspective.

Comments like mine are exactly like saying “if you took out California then Trump won the popular vote,” which have been posted here many times by numerous people. They are readily understood to address the fact that different in areas, whether within one state or nationwide, people do not vote evenly across party lines. They are not proposals for any sort of action in regards to any subdivision of political entities, or even throwing out ballots. This is much too silly a conversation for a reasonable person such as yourself to keep flogging.
