Not sure about all of Patrice's numbers but she's usually correct. Sad dang state of affairs. Was in Bridgeport Ca on the 4th for a gig with some friends. It's is very rural and a conservative town. Just like an old time small town 4th of July celebration. Gas was $4.99/gal for regular and I've been told it's the most expensive gas along US 395. Not like a lot of the state but still part of it. Not sure which one of the 3 it would be in if Cali is split into 3. Which I don't see happening.

Well, the folks in California can do what my wife did -- marry someone from out of state and move to be with them. It worked for us.

In America, the communists need to destroy the middle class for the
revolution to move forward. They are just ahead of the game in Cali.

But I only visit.
The state really does need to bust up
Dems dont want all these new GOP senators and and turnovers in the house that would come from it

It falls into the sea after an earthquake. All but the state's mountainous eastern edge. Then gold is discovered there and everything starts up all over again.
Reagan and his 1966 race for governor play a big role in the book. Gentry didn't like Reagan much.
