I haven’t looked through the credentials and appellate decisions of every candidate presently under consideration, so I don’t have a best choice here. But, this guy is no Souter.
Looking at some of his better known opinions, he is consistently a solid constitutional conservative. He is not, however, and Ivy League graduate and therefore lacks the credentials to a a SC judge in this global world where we have to consider the natural rights of climate change advocates, the sanctified position of sharia law, and the importance of Social Justice.
I can imagine the left trying to torpedo this guy by trying to get themselves and some RINOs behind him.
I’ve read quite a bit on the top three. I really like Kethledge. And he’s not an open borders guy. Of the roughly 115 illegal alien cases he’s ruled on, he ruled against the illegals 97% of the time. Hardly an “open border zealot” as described by Ann Coulter, who also thought Chris Christie should be our nominee.
