Mueller and company are just running out the clock, waiting for the end of October to issue a truckload of indictments. Surprise!

That game doesn't work so well anymore. Early voting means that many votes are cast before the October surprise hits. If they want to use indictments to influence the election, they will have to go with early October, also to give the MSM a chance to frame the indictments and attempt to gin up interest. The counter-attack will have to be ready immediately.
