A strong domestic economy and a firm political base allows Trump, on behalf of long term American interests, to take necessary actions against China and Iran. The Eurowimps have no choice but to follow.
Maximum Pressure! Yay Trump!!!
Very significant
Years ago, the company I worked for at the time imported a product from another company subsidiary located in France. The product, a specialized adhesive was used mainly for up-armored Humvee’s.
Because the French hated us American’s so much, we took great care to never tell them what we were using it for so they wouldn’t cut off our supply out of spite.

Cut all of Congress and Senate’s Pay by 75 %.
The issue here is that Iranian banks are ‘dying’. Several will survive 2018 only by merging with other weak banks. Go look at all the businessmen (even the small guys)....they are converting the cash into Euro or dollars and investing outside of Iran. They are waiting for the crash.
As long as no one tries to help the crash in Iran....Trump wins and a revolution will occur. The mullahs will disappear. At that point, we need to be ready to really help Iran...the little guys in particular.

Can’t happen soon enough! The Shah wasn’t a good guy, but at least under his “leadership,” Iran was one of the most “westernized” countries in the ME. It will be interesting to see of the populace turns on the nutball muzzies among them when the fall occurs.

CMA CGM Pays Trade Sanction Fine
My bet is the company plans on doing it again. Unless Trump makes clear he'll go medieval on their heinies.
Carrier, agent hit with OFAC penalties
CMA CGM (America), a Norfolk, Va.-based subsidiary of the French container carrier, has paid $374,400 to settle allegations of violations of the Cuban Assets Control Regulations, Iranian Transactions Regulations, and the Sudanese Sanctions Regulations that occurred about December 2004 to April 2008.
